A Visit to Mr. Emmanuel

Our hearts were deeply moved as we visited Mr. Emmanuel at his home, following our 9-day uninterrupted Novena Prayer this February. This dear man, who has been afflicted with disability, faces the added burdens of having no children or employment to support himself. His disability has not only stolen his independence but has also left him feeling isolated and alone. Each day, he struggles to find his next meal, a constant reminder of his vulnerability. But in the midst of these overwhelming challenges, we were humbled to be able to offer some relief, thanks to the generosity of the Father Chamberlain Anyanele Foundation. We provided him with a cash gift and a bag of rice, a small but tangible expression of our care and concern. Yet, as you all can see in the picture Mr. Emmanuel humbly requested for a wheelchair to enhance his mobility.

A Visit to Mrs. franca

Our hearts were shattered when we encountered Mrs. Franca during one of our community visitations. This precious soul had been abandoned by her only brother, left to suffer in isolation, without the loving care of family or friends. As an orphan, childless, and widowed, Mrs. Franca's life had been marked by unimaginable hardship and rejection. As we found her, Mrs. Franca's condition was urgent. Her chronic bedsores had ravaged her body, exposing her bones, while her leg ulcer had become severely infected due to the lack of medical attention. The agony she endured is beyond comprehension. But then, a ray of hope emerged. The Father Chamberlain Anyanele Foundation intervened, rescuing Mrs. Franca from the depths of lost hope. We ensured she received comprehensive medical care at St. Vincent de Paul hospital Ehime Mbano, where her wounds were treated, and her infections managed with the help of Sr. Angelica and her medical team. Moreover, we provided Mrs. Franca with a dedicated caregiver, who attended to her every need, offering love, compassion, and dignity. The caregiver's selfless support enabled Mrs. Franca to receive essential care, including cooking, cleaning, and medication management. Though Mrs. Franca's time with us was limited, we take comfort in knowing that, in her final days, she experienced the love, care, and compassion she so rightly deserved. The Father Chamberlain Anyanele Foundation is honored to have played a part in bringing joy and dignity to her life before she passed away

A visit to the orphanage home

As I reflect on our recent visit to the orphanage home, sponsored by me, Prisca Adindu, I'm overwhelmed with emotions. Seeing these precious children, Lacking the love and care that only a family can provide, it breaks my heart. We took some essentials to bring a smile to their faces, but it's clear that they need so much more. As someone who lost both parents at a young age, I understand the struggles they face. Every day is a fight to survive, and without our support, feeding, clothing, and educating them seems like an overwhelming task. Please I implore you all to join me in making a difference in their lives. Let's come together to provide the love, care, and resources they desperately need.

A visit to Mrs. Joy

Mrs. Joy's life has been forever changed by her SMI schizophrenia diagnosis. This brave mother of two struggles daily to care for herself and her children, her vulnerability exploited by those who took advantage of her condition. Now, she's left to raise her children alone, without a father or family support. We're crying out for help. Please support Mrs. Joy's journey to receive the mental health treatment she desperately need, and we want to be able to create awareness about SMI in her community, breaking down stigmas and building a support network for those who need it most, but the foundation can’t do it alone without your support.
